Dilantha Malagamuwa has got no recognition for his racing talent in Sri Lanka but, he’s striving in Malaysia, as a successful coach, surprisingly the Prime Minister Mathir Muhammad has seen his talent and recognized him to join their training camp.
Dilantha had started his career at the age of 16, and represented Sri Lanka in Races such as Japanese Endurance 1991, Formula Nippon 1997, Formula 3000 1998, Supr GT, GT 500 and GT 3000. But he’s lost his chance in participating for the Formula One World renowned race, sadly not a single company wanted to sponsor.
Dilantha says regardless of his obstacles he will represent Sri Lanka, the President has also promised to support him.
He is planning to participate in Japan’s GT competition at present he’s rated 10th, hopefully he’ll take our name into the racing world.
