Iresha Asanki De Silva will be representing Sri Lanka for Miss World 2013, Asanki had won several titles before such as Model of the new Generation, VIP best female
model. She stated that she has hopes of winning the title for Sri Lanka however she’s got less than one month for preparation. Asanki stated that at the beginning her brothers objected for the fact of her participating for these pageants, however her father did give her permission as long as her mother accompanies her. Obviously doors will open an acting carrier for her, she says she wants to be a silver screen actress and if she’ll get an offer she won’t miss it. ----------------------------------------------------
