Apsaari now a host and a popular wife of the renowned cricketer Hashan Thilakarathne, says she works so hard before hosting the ‘Great Ladies’ programme at Swarnawahini. She says that she’s been informed about the guest just three days before and she does her homework by researching about the guest online and conducting fieldwork about the guest’s closest associates.
A proud student from Samudhradewi as well as St. Paul’s girl’s school, she honors her parents as well as her popular husband for her success.
Apsaari’s style is an inspiration from her mother, she says.
In the interview she gave a tit bit about her husband’s
cricket life as she says, Hashan has had his harsh times especially when he was
unable to enter the ‘ national team’ but he didn’t give up, his dedication and
hard work paid off as he was also selected as the Team Captain.
Just as before she’s very close with the wives of the
cricket tam especially Sangakkara’s and Mahela’s.
