Udayanthi was silent for a long time, and now she’s back again .The reason for her silence has been Dewinda Konagaha’s latest movie in which she’d been shooting for seven months.

Sarsaviya newspaper has made her feel that fans can be annoying if they get a phone number, she claimed that she had to switch her phone off because the newspaper had published her birthday details along with her contact number and she’s been getting continuous calls even in the middle of the night.( c’mon people give the woman a break) or in other words the prize to pay for popularity.

Questioned about, the main role she plays in the gossip world she said that she’s lucky to be the gossip diva as not everyone gets the chance to be talked about and she takes it positively.

She’s produced a tele drama, and as she says she had the money so she tried the producing industry, there’s nothing wrong with it. (Yep I agree with her too but, ability and talent plays a part too.)

Her drama has been approved but is holding back 80 tele’s although she says she’s not in a hurry.

When questioned about the current actor/ producer trend he stated that he’s notices, regardless of talent if you have the money and if you want to be popular then the best thing is to produce your own tele drama and act as the main character.

Well Gayan I agree with you, because all the recent teledramas have been a chaos, models and novice actresses and actors produce third grade dramas poisoning the industry, In other words if you have the money you can play the game.
