Dulani is among one of the most popular actress to make a controversial issue almost every year, she accuses the internet for publishing false news especially recently for publishing that she'd signed a contract with Udayakantha Warnasooriya to act partially naked
in a movie. anyhow she doesn't seem to be having any positive outlook about the World Wide Web especially for over exaggerating and editing her pictures.

Currently she's bringing life to the character Ahelepola Kumarihami, she seems to be enjoying her profession as a teacher too,she says she has a slight craving to get away from the traditional Sri Lankan woman's role and try out a western character but her teaching profession is a barrier to it.
