Muthu’s boyfriend has taken advantage of her and gone abroad!!!!!!!

Muthu replies to a fake article published in the internet about her boyfriend. She stated that her friends had informed her about this fake article and she believes that maybe this was published since she was invisible in the small screen for  a reasonably long period. Her reason was because she had to go overseas for a few musical shows.

The funny part is that she thanks the publishers for making her popular again in an unpleasant way.

And about her happily ever after’s she’s planning to get married next year.

People who do take them do the most disgraceful things - Wathsala Diyagoda

 The sweet and multi-talented Wathsala in a recent interview of a leading newspaper stated that acting is a big challenge and not everyone can survive in the industry. There are many new bees in the industry who thinks that they can act but the reality is the opposite.

She also said that many actresses take a family member to the set, but they are the people who do the most disgraceful things. Responding to a question asked by the interviewer, her opinion is that if she is clean she has nothing to worry about and she doesn’t follow the family trend and prefers to be a loner.

 Her point is true of course but in the industry you should be ready to face anything isn’t it?

Anusha Damayanthi winner of Dance stars dance

A glamorous grand finale of dance stars dance was held at the Sugathadasa indoor stadium last night featuring many popular Sri Lankan celebrities. The four contestants did an excellent performance. The runners up were the popular model Hemal Ranasinghe and the young actress Menaka Peris.

The most highlighting events of the evening were the unfortunate mistake made by a contestant, the politico comments made by the judge board and the final moments.

The surprising part of this glamorous event was that no special guest was invited to present the awards to the winners whereas the awards were given by the host, popular actor Ranjan Ramanayake himself. Well the question is, were the organizers scared to come on stage because of the previous mega stars event (Plastic bottles and other objects were thrown at the stage after the finalists were announced during the awards ceremony) when the audiences were not happy about the winner?  Well who knows...?

Overall according to the public opinion the judgment was fair and the best moment of the show was when the winner Anusha cried out for her mother on stage, which was really heart warming.

It was reported that at Ruwanwella  (the spot where the disguised Thera, A.Sobitha had lived) a strong protest had been made by monks as well as laymen.
It was reported that it was made to understand that the disguised monk had either gone into hiding or had fled the country, the protestors had broken in and searched the premises. They had found liquor and other illicit items not used by monks.
This disguised monk was famous for ‘charming’, which was supported by many as it was widely advertised in the media. It had been reported that in the pretext of helping, he had insisted young girls to stay with him and it has requested for indecent proposals. Even though these incidents were popular amongst many people,no one wanted to inquire into his ‘charming’ methods out of fear as he was a rich monk.
